Sometimes it’s just too cold to enjoy the beautiful outdoors of Colorado Springs. We’ve put together a list of some of our favorite indoor activities in Colorado Springs.

With 300+ days of sunshine a year and mild seasons, Colorado is a dream for outdoor living. However, it’s good to have a back-up plan for rainy and snowy days. When weather doesn’t permit hiking, biking, or water activities, here’s a list of our favorite indoor activities.

Indoor Playgrounds

Sky Zone

Sky Zone is an indoor trampoline park located in northern Colorado Springs, off Woodmen. They offer open jump, memberships, and host events and birthday parties. Their featured highlights are:

  • Sky Zone in Colorado SpringsFreestyle Jump – Let go of gravity and grab some air on wall-to-wall trampoline courts. Challenge a friend or show off your inner acrobat. Reach new heights while flipping and jumping on the biggest trampoline court in our park.
  • Foam Zone – Push. Evolve. Fly. The Foam Zone is all about big air and soft landings. The ideal area to practice your most daring stunts safely into a pool of huge foam squares. So soft, it will feel like a cloud.
  • SkySlam – Our SkySlam trampoline basketball experience helps you get enough air to reach the rim and dunk! Grab your friends to shoot some hoops and show off your slams. There are rims of different heights to accommodate all ages and sizes.
  • Dodgeball – Soar into the air beyond the bounds of gravity to avoid getting hit and keep your adrenaline rushing as you rise up to meet your inner athlete in a game of gravity-free trampoline dodgeball. Bring your competitive spirit and get ready to conquer the unexpected.
  • Aircourt – Play basketball, soccer, volleyball or dodgeball on this springy, air-filled multi-court. The air-filled floor allows for tricks and stunts that regular fields and courts do not.

Air City 360

Air City 360 is newer to Colorado Springs and adds a whole lot of fun! Find this indoor adventure park on the north side of Colorado Springs off Spectrum Loop. Similarly to Sky Zone, you can walk-in for open jump or reserve one of their private rooms for a party. Air City offers a bit more of an elevated dynamic.

For those who aren’t particularly fond of bouncing, Air City has an entire arcade section with popular games and an air hockey table. Win tickets and redeem them for prizes at the counter. A small café is equipped with drinks and snacks to refuel between jumps.

Escape Rooms

Whether you’re looking for something family-friendly or a creepy adult outing, Colorado Springs offers many escape rooms. According to The Escape Game, an escape room is an immersive, 60-minute, real-life adventure game. There are 5 steps to success:

1. Select A Theme

First, you’ll pick which epic, themed escape room you want to play! Themes range from exciting and action-packed to silly and light-hearted. Popular themes include bank heists, prison breaks, and zombies.

2. Meet Your Game Guide

After choosing a room, you’ll meet your Game Guide. The Game Guide takes you to your room, explains the rules, and answers any questions before you begin your adventure.

3. Enter The Game And Watch A Mission Video

Once you’re ready to start the game, your team will watch a mission video. This video explains the world your team is now a part of, what you’re trying to accomplish, and why you only have 60 minutes to do so!

Some missions are about escaping the room, like in a prison break room. Other missions might not be centered around escaping, but instead, you might be completing a heist or launching a Martian spaceship.

4. Escape The Room!

To escape, start by searching the room! Look for patterns or connections and communicate with your teammates! Together you can find solutions. You’ll solve puzzles, uncover clues, and crack codes to progress through the game!

5. Get A Clue

Don’t forget to call for clues or ask your Game Guide for help! They’re there to make sure you have an awesome experience and help your team escape!
